The Regents Park League

Description

The Camden & Regents Park League was set up by the London Borough of Camden as part of their sports development programme.  It is now run by a private organisation.

The League has around 50 member clubs and 120  teams and plays all of its matches at Regent’s Park on a Saturday, generally every other week.

Standard of Football

This is what we classify as an introduction to competitive football.   The standard of football can be high but limited pitch space at the fixed venue league means that teams only play competitive teams every second week at the most.

Disruption of schedules due to weather can result in periods of 4 weeks or more without a match.  Teams typically get 7-8 competitive matches per season.
